I love TIVO. Or more accurately, I love the concept of the DVR. Because it gives me a much more efficient avenue through which to annoy the Wife with my political addiction.

And guess what? Now that we've finally gotten AT&T U-Verse installed, I have even more opportunities to do so, because I can record and/or view as many as four channels at once rather than the two offered up by DirecTV's service. For example, last Tuesday I recorded the presidential debate at Belmont University on PBS, CNBC and BBC America so I could get the different pundits' perspectives afterward. Fortunately, the Wife had already gone to bed by the time I got around to watching them.
