As some of you may remember from my previous blogs, I have been reading Susan Faludi's "The Terror Dream: Fear and Fantasy in Post-9/11 America" for quite some time.  I finally finished it last Thursday, and have been meaning to write about it since.

Unfortunately, I'm not certain how to put my feelings into phrases and sentences.  Admiration.  Consternation.  Aggravation.  Illumination.  Shock.  Awe.

So since I don't have the proper eloquence at my disposal in order to do justice to this master work, I'll paste the jacket text and some reviews here, as well as some links to additional reviews.  I would suggest that everyone interested in the current state of our nation and world read this book, and I now have a copy that is free to anyone who desires it.
