We attended the memorial service for Rory on Saturday evening at his store, Comic Relief.  Friends, family, customers, employees and industry pros rubbed elbows and braved the heat of the Back Room to pay tribute to him.  Prior to his death, I had no idea that he had been so widely known and respected.

So San Leandro got kidnapped earlier, and I was sent several "proof of life" ransom notes.  They threatened to toss him off the balcony,
