Ritualistic behavior

There is a minor ritual I observe every St. Patrick’s Day:  drink at least one Guinness, dress in green, watch "Patriot Games" and fly the Irish flag (actually, I fly it all March long).

Today I wore not one, but two green t-shirts (as did the Younger Son).  The first was a simple olive green undershirt to the gym, and then after a much-needed shower I changed into an Emerald Isle F.C. shirt.  For dinner I made a potato dish that was somewhere between champ and colcannon (the Wife had little interest in cabbage), and Aidell’s pesto sausages instead of corned beef (which has 48% of the RDA of sodium per serving).

After the kids were in bed, I managed to leave Paddy’s Day comments for all of my Friends, and when the Wife was finally finished watching Animal Planet’s "World’s Ugliest Dog 2006" competition, popped in "Patriot Games."

As we watched the credits, the Wife exclaimed, "This has Darth Vader in it!"

"Yup," I said.

"And Dumbledore!"

So I am now sitting here watching the movie while she searches IMDB for cast members who were in sci-fi or fantasy movies.  So far:
